Nature, Far North Queensland
This section hopefully showcases some of the colour and immense variety of flora and fauna that you find yourself surrounded by every day in the Far North. Whether it be the brilliant blue of an Ulysses Butterfly flitting past (a sight that never fails to lift the spirit), the jolt to the heart if you stumble across a cassowary, watching and listening to the fruit bats chatting whilst flying together, or stopping to smell a delicate frangipani flower, the nature up here is really THE major attraction. Words just can’t do it justice; I only hope the photographs can.
